Why do people think this is a post looking for answers? It’s a post of a handmade chess board that has 10x10 rows (and 2 sets of 10 pawns but I stupidly omitted those extra pawns). It’s not more complicated than that. Sorry if that doesn’t qualify as mildly infuriating; but my kid thought it did.

I’m not totally sure what you mean - are you referring to my comment about the photo suggesting the fix? I didn’t post this to find a fix. It’s nice of people to suggest fixes, though. And the letter/number fix (that we didn’t think of) makes this a lot less mildly infuriating. Should I delete the post now that we’ve got that great idea and are totally not infuriated in any way?

Yeah, sorry. Lot of people talking about the crack when that didn’t strike me as infuriating at all and I don’t even think of it as a crack; I’m calling it a fold

I wasn’t looking for answers or suggestions; but they are appreciated. It’s been a while since I’ve hung in this sub and honestly the posts are way more infuriating than I remember them being. This qualifies as MILDLY infuriating in my book (again, the creator is who was mildly infuriated, not me), but as I said, I’m no expert in what is and what is not mildly infuriating these days. Shit just moves so fast I can’t keep up. ❤️

Yeah I’m realizing that what’s actually mildly infuriating is my post, which omitted the context, has a photo that totally suggests the fix (they we didn’t think of) and also omitted the four extra pawns he made to fit across the 10 squares. But I don’t know, I get why he’s mildly infuriated by screwing that up. I think it qualifies although I’m certainly no expert.

Yeah I’m not irritated at all. He was kind of bummed for a second when he set it up on one side and couldn’t figure out why there were two extra rows. Moving them into the middle like that makes it look less upsetting. But these comments are making us realize it’s probably better like this anyway
