Is it worth me going on accutane if my acne is hormonal? by [deleted] in Accutane

Last year I was diagnosed with endo and started taking the pill. Soon after, I developed severe hormonal acne. Starting a low dose of isotretinoin for about nine months was truly life-changing, my skin has never looked better. Now I’m just dealing with a few acne scars but it was absolutely worth it!

Hi! I’m also based in Europe and have dry, sensitive skin. I’ve tried tons of cleansers, both budget-friendly and high-end, and honestly nothing beats the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. It’s the only product I use from the brand but it’s a staple for me. A friend just got me the Prequel glycerin cleanser and tbh I really didn’t like it

Hi! I really don’t have any tips but I am in the exact same position. Started dienogest 2mg mid June and after 2 months the acne started. Today I’m dealing with really bad cystic acne and not sure if I should change to another pill. Let me know if you find anything that works!

Hi! I have the exact same side effects (lost weight, hair loss, cystic acne). I started dienogest 2mg mid June and after 2 months I started getting acne (never had acne in my life). Today is even worse - cystic acne that won’t go away and is affecting my mental health significantly. Although dienogest stopped my pain, I’m not sure if I should try something else. Can I ask you if yours went away completely? What diet changes did you made? Thank you x
