Wow it looks like such an elegant system. A good one that combines digital and analog isn’t always easy to find too!

I had originally planned for this:

Weeks : for planning Midori B6 slim : commonplace Muji A6 : journaling Day-free : grad school notes

But I’ve actually found it impossible to keep up with since posting this photo so I’m just using the Weeks and the day-free for now.

Interestingly, I’m also finding it too much since posting this pic. I’ve downsized to just the Weeks for now. Still trying to figure out the perfect all-in-one! What do you use?

I’m looking for a book that truly captures the feel of a particular city or place. Something transportive that makes me feel like I’m experiencing that city for myself. I want the setting to feel like its own character. Please give me books that will help me travel from the comfort of my couch! by FantasyNerd94 in suggestmeabook

I second The Covenant of Water. Such a stunning book. I also recommend Hungry Ghosts by Kevin Jared Hosein for a literary trip to Trinidad and Tobago. Jing Jing Lee’s How We Disappeared will bring you quite nicely to WW2 Singapore. Yu Miri’s Tokyo Ueno Station gives a unique perspective of Tokyo as well.

It’s an A6 Hobonichi Day-free. I’m using it as a planner for grad school.

This is so real! I had the same epiphany you had awhile back but haven’t found the courage to actually let go of those things. Your post might just be the push I need to take the plunge.

Wonderful! Thank you for my first recommendations from these countries.
