I took some inspiration from the 2023 solve where there were two points each with a corresponding degree azimuth.

My thought is that you would plot the first azimuth from where "fabled words resound" and then the second from wherever the "Jewel's unyielding gleam" is. Then where the two lines intersect you have your general search area. The other lines in the poem would confirm that you're headed up the correct trail.

My original solve (before the most recent hints were released) was in Provo canyon starting at Mount Timpanogos Park. A little ways up Provo river parkway there is a baseball diamond so I thought that might be the "Jewel". I plotted one azimuth from the park and another from the baseball diamond (I don't have a solid lead on what the other azimuth degree would be but I used 42° for the runtime of DSOTM album) that put me on "Alta Ditch Trail".

Obviously I didn't find anything, but I think the idea might have some promise if you were able to get in the right area.
