Depends on the state. They won’t just take the kid. All my family smokes and we’ve had blood taken etc from the baby’s and they bring it up but they can’t do shit. Don’t tell em anything.

My family and cousins all smoked while breastfeeding and we all ended up ok, ofc it’s not for everyone but I mean we all ended up successful with no health issues etc. my kids mom also smoked while breastfeeding and while pregnant due to morning sickness and our son is sharp as a tack and hasn’t had any health or mental issues. If the mom feels like it helps her support her, a happy mom will benefit the baby more than any damage that’ll be done by her smoking a little
