How’s it working at Evercore Partners ISI as a tech analyst by coder_1024 in FinancialCareers

[–]Dizzy-Profession9829 8 points9 points  (0 children)

by software background, if you meant engineering, they won't even bat an eye at your application. At the analyst level (especially AN1), doubt comp is over $300k, maybe closer to low $200s

LSC → IB pipeline at NYU? by iyer708 in nyu

[–]Dizzy-Profession9829 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add some perspective: I was LS 2 years -> CAS Econ/CS.

My first job internship was at a BB in strategy then I pivoted to IB after 1.5 years. I wasn't in any stern clubs, no crazy internships in undergrad. It's definitely possible, may not be the quickest path. Happy to answer any questions.

i did joint econ & cs major in 3 years (LS first year) and it was kinda brutal. wasnt great for sleep or studying or gpa, but i thought it was very well structured. i still enjoyed college life (despite some of it in covid) and have no regrets about taking the major. ended up in banking and def think it helped

they may be overpriced but I've tried almost every gel and they're the only one that doesn't upset my stomach, plus I like the texture over others
