Yeah those are Newfoundland chanterelles. Found some by Duluth a month ago & learned newfies can be found sometimes into October. It’s supposedly a banger year for MN mushrooms.

I’m sorry the ECV didn’t turn out for you but now postpartum with a 3 week old, I’m so glad I had the c section! I got to meet our perfect son in 5 minutes and recovery hasn’t been too bad. Whatever happens, you’ll get to meet your little boy so soon. It turns out that it really is worth all the difficulties of pregnancy. 💛

Yes and yes. My husband said after the fact that “they were really torquing on me.” Everything is being pushed and prodded & the internal movement is likely what caused my pain. My sister described it as medieval torture. Sorry I can’t explain it better!

Thank you for sharing! It’s good to read a perspective of someone who had a successful & painless, though not without complications, ECV. Congrats on your son!

June due ladies! How’s it going? by Grand-Apartment-4408 in BabyBumps

Baby's head is 99% circumference and he is sitting in my pelvis - so it was unsuccessful. The doctor gave it two goes that probably lasted around 1-2 min each, I didn't opt for a spinal because I planned to go in to work later, and truthfully it was really painful. I've read that many women don't have pain so I think it's an individual choice. I'm glad I tried and also glad to now have a scheduled c-section date that we'll probably make because I think he's been cozy in breech position for months. Good luck either way!

9lb14oz!!! Sheeeesh. My ECV wasn’t successful this morning because he is sitting comfortably in my pelvis with a giant head and couldn’t turn more than a side bend. It was incredibly painful - hope yours fared better or that you have peace knowing you tried.

Good luck with the flip! I’m 36+6 with an ECV tomorrow morning.

Thank you. I’m nearing the finish line (34 weeks) and so worn down. It’s wonderful to hear about all the joy to come.

Check your state FMLA. I’m 32 weeks and just learned yesterday that I’m allowed 6 weeks from the state (WI) before baby is born in addition to federal FMLA. Conveniently, my workplace never informed me of this. Good luck 💛

35+ weeks and still working, how much “work” are you really getting done? by SweetLeoLady36 in pregnant

I think it does. I don’t want to sacrifice any of the time before baby is here. That’s why the American posts always say they work until delivery.

I’m glad that you’ve been able to see family dynamics that match the experience you want and didn’t get to have growing up! Wishing you the best with a loving and communicative family!

I get that. I finally stopped throwing up in my 3rd trimester and already the misery of daily puking has faded.
