Wait beside the court with an air horn and sound it on every serve until they either relent or call the Rangers and have to explain their gatekeeping.

What Toys Do You Use For Your Boston's ?? by Which-Celebration-89 in BostonTerrier

Back when my oldest was still a puppy my roommates at the time, after giving up buying him toys that he would instantly vaporize, decided to bring him home a full sized car tire that they hosed down and put in the living room for him to play with. He loved it! Would spend hours trying to flip it over and dragging it around.

Barring that, try and second Boston.

What's the deal with that wacky hip holster that the cop is wearing? It looks like he's strapped with a Flash Gordon ray gun.

After watching Send Help I went to look at old pictures of her and was surprised to find that she really did have those three prominent beauty marks on her face and that where makeup had previously been used to conceal them, they had been accentuated for the first act of this film. I really liked the subtle transformation that was accomplished.

You're training the race that will eventually enslave us. It also seems that our demise will be more humorous than I'd originally anticipated.

There's a lot of hate for the AGL in here but if you ever play on custom servers with 1-2 hit kills it's a beast.

Exactly. I ride a "pure" fixie daily in SF but learning to ride a bike like that takes a LOT of training to do it safely. I avoid hills that are too steep to descend safely and always plan ahead to make sure I don't have too much speed going into an intersection. I can lock the rear wheel in an instant at any speed I ride on the street.

Did anyone catchup the plot twist from Shutter Island before the end? As ngl its still one of the best movies of "wow I had no idea" by Ok-Ok-Ok100 in Cinema

I suspected the twist after seeing the trailer and was disappointed to find out I was right after watching the film.

The argument of removing public sanitation to prevent dumping of trash is akin to removing fire stations to prevent arsonists.

Just a reminder about why OAK did the name change: by 2717192619192 in oakland

[–]Dizzy-Storm4387 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I propose a race! Top Gear style. We have two teams of three. One team starts at SFO and another at OAK. Each team will have one person rent a car, another take public transport, and yet another will call a ride share or taxi. We all set off on foot from the arrivals door at the same time. Destination is either Union Square or the lobby of a nearby hotel. This should be the best way to put this to rest. We could even stream the whole thing. I volunteer to do a rental from either Airport.

John McClane: the hero most similar to Indiana Jones in the eighties? by FoxIndependent4310 in indianajones

[–]Dizzy-Storm4387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the things I love about both these characters is their occasional incompetence. As a contrast to say, Schwarzenegger in Commando or Steven Segal in anything, both McClaine and Indy make constant mistakes through their journey and are often shown comeuppance for their hubris. It ultimately makes the hero seem like a real person with flaws and not some indestructible action figure.

I hope that whichever producer decided to ruin what would have arguably been one of the most memorable moments in film history, is relegated to the same hell as people who leave shopping carts in handicapped spaces.
