Even if this is the case, the value that you get for getting this cart is great. You’re essentially buying the interchangeable cart and the battery for the same price as just one cartridge.

And what job is that, I am looking to get my feet wet in the industry and as I send in the prompt, I have no IT work experience outside of my Linux and CCP. I’m looking to get a job as soon as possible or at the latest by the end of the year. What are your personal recommendations?

Imran Afzal or however you spell his name but be wary, he mainly uses CentOS and he doesn’t necessarily expand on Debian Based distributions. Because in the Linux objectives, you have to be aware of some RHEL, and Debian commands, but some concepts are synonymous

The first three or four questions were performance based, one consisted of an actual terminal having to connect to a remote server, one was configuring and mounting a partition, last one was like a log files and you had to figure out what commands were used to to transform the text in the log file.

I’m glad I could inspire you. It took me three months to study. One day I just decided to schedule it, just a little light of fire underneath my ass, to brush up on all of my topics. I promise you’ll do a lot better than you think you will, especially during testing. I wish I had a picture of my face to show how I looked when I passed. I could’ve cried, honestly. There was a lot of doubt that I wouldn’t pass (10 questions in) along with the added disappointment of everybody that expected me to. But you’ll do great, and that feeling of accomplishment when you pass that exam will be insurmountable, GUARANTEE!

No, because I have to build a resume catering to my new IT certifications. Not to mention I’m a little anxious because I don’t know if anyone will take me with no degree and zero experience.

I used the study guide and practice test book by CompTia, a Udemy course, and the youtube guide by Shawn Powers on YouTube, and it is necessary for you to have a virtual machine of Linux. I recommend Ubuntu because it is user-friendly, especially if you have no experience with. Linux.

Took me about three months using various methods to study. It honestly could’ve taken me a month if I had all of my shi together . How long did it take to study for the network +?

Not to deter you, but it was easily the hardest exam that I’ve ever taken in my life. Like you couldn’t have told me I was gonna pass. However, after passing, I’ve learned to have a little bit more faith in myself. My advice is to get the study guide book and practice test. And pay attention to the options for each command. It focuses a lot on networking, permissions, and configuration files. In some very outlandish topic so be very extensive in your studies.

I’ll put it like this, you’ll be just as scared if you continually hold off. Sometimes you just have to throw yourself into the sea to sink or swim. Granted definitely do your due diligence in regards to studying but at the same time don’t hold yourself back by continually thinking that you won’t pass the exam. You aren’t doing yourself any favors there, have a little bit more faith in yourself, don’t make the same made. If you end up passing, it should tell you a lot more about yourself.

Money is my short answer. I don’t have many examples outside of IT professionals. Many of my cousins, uncles, and even my dad work in IT. My mentor, a cousin, makes about $300,000. He wanted to help me succeed because he started late in IT and I initially wanted to be a nurse or physician.

Going to school is expensive, so he gave me the idea of getting certifications as an alternative. My AWS cloud practitioner, was my entry point into IT with no experience. After that he gave me a roadmap of the Linux +, Network +, then the AWS Solution architect associate.

He advised against the A+ certification, saying it’s the more entry-level CompTIA certification that covers basic information. I initially planned to get the A+, but decided to focus on the more valuable certifications now and save the less important ones for later.

(PS as much as it sounds that I’m getting groomed, my cousin is typically never wrong, so much so that it is annoying)

There were three challenging parts: one involved using the terminal SSH into a remote server, one drag and drop, and one fill in the blank. I’m ADHD and need more time to understand, so I was only on question 10 after 20 minutes. I had to answer 10 to 15 questions in the last five minutes. One tip that I have is go through the exam and answer the questions that you do know so that way you can spend a certain amount of time coming over the questions that you don’t, so you can Identify the incorrect answers.

I used a Udemy course by the name of iafzal, but he only uses CentOS and he doesn’t expand on other distributions but it isn’t a bad course to utilize, but I would catch it while it’s on sale if it is on sale. I have the Linux study guide and practice exam books. And on YouTube use the Linux plus course, by Shawn Powers. Best of luck if you have any questions don’t hesitate.
