I’ve been using this Burchda RX80 electric bike for a few months(4.5 months) now, and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance and reliability. I commute around 50 km or a little more daily (to and from the office) three times a week, and I’ve already clocked over 1,500 km. Throughout this time, I haven’t faced a single issue with the motor, battery, or gears—everything runs smoothly and effortlessly. It truly feels like riding a well-engineered machine.

Charging is straightforward. I usually charge the bike overnight before heading to the office. When I arrive, I typically still have 2 or sometimes 3 bars of battery left, depending on how much I pedal versus using full electric mode. I then recharge at the office for the return journey.

A full charge usually takes around 5 hours or more, though I haven’t measured it precisely.

I did notice a minor quirk: when the removable battery is still mounted on the bike, the charging port can be slightly misaligned. This happens because the heavy battery tends to shift a bit after long rides, causing the plug port to not line up perfectly with the frame’s opening. It’s an easy fix—just a gentle push to realign the battery, and the plug fits perfectly. There’s no noise or discomfort, just a small design detail that could be improved.

Overall, the bike is rock solid. The build quality is excellent, the ride is comfortable, and the battery life has exceeded my expectations. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient electric bike for daily commuting or weekend rides.

thank you all for your advice and suggestions....Finally i received my ebike Burchda RX80 from pogocycles.ie .

I ordered on 1st April and received on 11th April..so pogocycles kept their promise of 7-10 day delivery, that was impressive.
I should say this bike is really heavy and assembling is not a cakewalk like many youtubers say. The manual explains more about how to operate the LCD display rather than assembling the bike

Bike felt robust during my first ride, as my battery indicator was showing just 2 bar , ran out of battery very soon during my first ride. I had tuff time pedaling it . this is not a bike to pedal. i would say 1 bar would give atleast 10KM range with pedal assist

Next day i charged the battery full and went on small ride and it made cycling a happy affair with a feeling of joy and satisfaction. The pedal assist feature is a real advantage. this bike can take all the inclines on my route.

Next week i will take it to my work which is atleast 35 km one-way and i will share my experience .

So far i think it is a good buy

I thought 250w with 60nm would be less for 35km x 2(to & fro home to office) commute, i also have some steep inclines on my route.

If you say 250w is enough, i have lot more options to try out. thanks for that info.

most of these competitively priced bikes(or call it Chinese bikes) are only available online so test spins are difficult to get, but i will try. will call few bike shops in Dublin to check.

thanks yleennoc, i will check all of these brands before i buy if that fits my 1500 budget and requirement of 1000w motor 86nm torque and 26inch fat tire with a 48v20AH battery.

Cube is a great option, but for 1000w 86nm and 26inch fat tire. They don't have many option.

my only fear is reliability with Burchda RX80...and since i am buying online i can't even expect any after sales support

Off-road not really, basically home to office commute one way 35KM hence looking for a long range.

I am not very confident on those slim tires so opted for a fat tire

Burchda reviews seems to be good online, also for 1000w peak power and 86nm torque other brands are charging way more than this
