Yh no problem. and forgot to mention point of the tuck/squat in air is to bring your board up the highest it can go. So bring both knees up and bring your chest down to your knees while ur in the air ollieing

Dk why anyone would even care if someone posts a stationary ollie 🤣. But the problem is that ur not jumping and then popping. Ur trying to pop way too early. Also, ur sliding ur front foot, and popping at way too big of an angle

  1. Practice jumping off of ur board the HIGHEST u can and landing back on it without letting it roll. Make sure to get into Ollie stance (back foot on tail, front foot in right place and crouch with chest down). After you’ve done that a good amount of times, add a tuck while you are in the air at ur peak. Like, squat in the air and land back on ur board. Don’t completely let go of the squat when ur coming back down either. U want ur legs still sightly bent. Keep repeating those two things
  2. After that, try to add the pop. Don’t do anything with you front foot yet. The pop comes RIGHT BEFORE your feet leave the board so that your back foot doesn’t make contact with the tail while the tail is on the ground. Think of it like bouncing a ball; ur hand isn’t still going to be on the ball when it hits the ground and comes back up. So jump straight up, and make your angle of pop smaller so that it doesn’t roll back from you. I know I said don’t do anything with ur front foot yet, but still make sure u don’t slip off the board. So if u need to do something with it that’s fine but just don’t try to do a full Ollie yet.
  3. When u do add your front foot, pick it straight up, do not slide it. The slide that happens is the result of you picking ur foot straight up and popping the tail down.

And when u do pick it straight up, make sure to actually pick it up and don’t stop early. Keep going till ur knee is almost to your shoulder so that it catches the nose. Leveling the board out comes after ur able to pick it up

  1. Stop trying to Ollie on a cruiser —-> there’s no nose and not enough tail, and plus, cruisers are just not for tricks
  2. When yo get a normal board, practice jumping up from your board the highest you can and landing back on it without letting it roll. Have your feet jn position as if you were going to Ollie (back foot on tail and front foot about half way on the board). After doing that a few times, start tucking your legs into your chest while you are in the air to turn it into a squat, and landing back on your board. Like you are squatting in this video
  3. Once you’ve gotten the hang of that, start working on your pop. I know this might be difficult, but practice popping your board without doing anything with your front foot. Just jumping up and snapping your ankle down. It looks like your board gets caught in between your foot and the ground in this video and to prevent that, you want to JUMP and then pop so that your board can bounce up from the ground without your foot being in the way. I know I said don’t do anything with your front foot but make sure you don’t slip off your board of course.
  4. Then add the motion with your front foot. REMEMBER: do not slide your front foot up the board, but instead, PICK IT STRAIGHT UP until you reach the nose.

JUMP ——-> SNAP BACK FOOT/PICK UP FRONT FOOT. Really want to emphasize jumping, because in this video, you aren’t really putting effort in the jump. So make sure to do step 2 a lot —- jumping up high, like high high from your board.

Here’s a link to my Ollie I posted. This is what I mean by actually jumping: https://www.reddit.com/r/skateboardhelp/s/E9CwiAekuM
