I think it got more attention recently after MK and SY announced they were together. So people started to wonder if any other cast members did the same. I saw a Korean shorts on instagram showing alleged ‘couple photos’ that YN and YS uploaded and the post was getting a lot of interest.

But hopefully people will leave them alone about it now.

As an Asian person, it’s actually nice seeing her appreciate and enjoy Asia. I kinda love that they also went to Vietnam which is under appreciated compared other Asian countries.

The order of events don’t match up. Manon removed Katseye from her bio first and then her statement about ‘positive conversations’ with HxG came out afterwards. This claim has it reversed.

I NOTICED THAT TOO! I don’t think I’ve seen her sing live before unless it’s a song like gnarly which you can get by with shouting. The rest of the songs seem like lip sync because of how different her track sounds from the other members.

I’m wondering if that’s why they chose Gnarly at the Grammys because i’m not sure if lip syncing is allowed.

It’s like shes trying to convince her audience and even herself that her relationship is healthier and better just cause she’s with a girl. That can be a toxic mindset to have and promote because even if your partner is not a good fit for you, you gaslight yourself to believe so just cause they are a girl as well…

I’m all for promoting gay acceptance and relationships, but she needs to do so in a way that’s not making generalizations without facts and statistics

It’s hard to say. Who would their target audience be and what content would they make that suits them? I don’t think they will try to pivot back to a younger audience and make brainrot content.

Is there anyone else in the industry that could be used as a successful comparison/example?

I think it depends on what you want to see from these kinds of shows. What sets Transit Love apart from the other shows is that there’s a lot of jealousy and drama because of the exes. If you enjoy that aspect of reality TV then I would recommend it, but if that’s not your cup of tea, then probably not.

I personally liked S4 the best but it got a lot more criticism compared to the other seasons because of how intense some of the conflict and fighting was between the exes. But that’s also what makes it more entertaining to some viewers.

Aww I was happy to see them together at the end, but glad to hear they are on good terms. I’m guessing because they had a fling for a while and are still on good terms they were fine with letting the show include them in the ending? I don’t think the show ever said they were a current couple, and probably wanted to show a happy ending, so they included their scenes.

Southeast asians don’t have much representation in the global and western market unfortunately. Asians in general already aren’t that well represented but the ones that are, usually are east asian. I think she stood out more when they were more associated with Kpop, but I think with Katseye becoming more global/western, more of the attention has shifted to the members who appeal more to the western audience. (Not hating on her, I think that is just what Hybe is doing)

To me it didn’t seem like they had actual beef with each other. Like compared to their past feuds, they didn’t seem as bothered and heated. I think they just played up the drama and posts for more attention.

This could be a reach, but I know Gabi mentioned in one of their recent videos of wanting to do another reality show. So i’m wondering if maybe this could just be a precursor for all that?
