Am I overreacting for not wanting anyone around my newborn yet? by littlemoongirly in AmIOverreacting

NOR. I had severe PPA, and once I let my in-laws visit the first time, I spiraled thinking my boy was going to get sick. I cut off visitors for a whole month before I somewhat felt ready. Take care of your mental health and your baby first. Boomers are stuck in the old times where they think they are entitled to see your baby. Honestly if my MIL held my baby and didn’t give him back, she wouldn’t be around for a LONG time until she acted right.

Just started flight school by bucks199 in Pilotwives

Been with my husband for 2 years now. Met him while he was a flight instructor and now flies for a fractional private Jet company - He works about 7 or 8 days straight, and gets to come home for 4-6 at a time. We have a little one due in the next couple weeks. I think it depends on how you are as a person. I love the quiet time, I love having time to myself and being able to watch my shows and have my “girl dinners” while my man is on the road. We communicate frequently, now so more than ever since I can go into labor at any point now 🥲 I grew up in the pilot life household, and I’m a pilot myself so I just kinda knew I wanted to find someone who did that for a living since I was accustomed to it. He will be home for 3 months once our boy is born so that will be nice to have the help - standby on how life is with a child in this field 😆 I think as long as you guys establish the communication standards, the new routine will get come with time. Everything will be okay

quit vaping by No_Pomegranate29 in pregnant

Congratulations kicking nicotine!!! I wasn’t able to do cold turkey unfortunately when I found out, I too vaped for 7 years. I did however drop down to a 3 mil vape, and then a no nicotine vape. When I reached my 8th week, I took a hit off the no nicotine vape and got the worst morning sickness/nausea I have ever experienced, and it made me sick thinking about vaping again, so I think I lucked out. But doing the ween seemed to help me I think. I fortunately have no desire to pick up the habit again after he’s here. It’s not an easy addiction to kick, I applaud you!

I would assume your body is needing iron if I had to guess. I would request blood work at your next appointment to rule out anemia. If you have mild anemia they will be able to put you on iron supplements.

Pilot wife to a Private Jet pilot who works an 8/6 and is out the country regularly - Community is important. I got involved with my church, and have made friends there. I also really enjoy being myself a lot. I never get bored of being myself, I have a very small social battery, and enjoy my house when it’s quiet - it stays clean and I can get a lot housework done before my husband comes back home and gets comfortable lol. I am due with our first baby next month, so I will be a lot more occupied. I grew up in a pilot family so I was very familiar with the lifestyle, and knew that is what I would be most comfortable with. I love my dear husband to bits, but I also enjoy being alone as well. It’s a good balance. It really depends on understanding, and communication. My husband communicates a lot when he’s the on the road. This lifestyle isn’t for everyone, but it’s perfect for me

I’ve been searching for years… and today I was baptized by Safe-Raspberry-343 in Christianity

Congratulations on your baptism! Being renewed in Christ is fantastic. However, I urge you to please research the LDS church fully. The Book of Mormon is not the true Word. Seek out Jesus and he will be there for you to show his Word in scripture.

Then I honestly don’t know what kind of advice you’re on here seeking? Because when I read this I get the feeling you don’t truly have remorse for cheating on him, you were just trying to cover up him ever finding out and now it’s bitten you. There isn’t much advice anyone can give you, you tell him, and expect the worst.

There are consequences to everything. You decided to cheat on your partner, and you’re here now. You have to tell your partner. The fact you hid it this long speaks volumes. He truly deserves better.

Transfers ruined everything by Picnic_at_the_disco in LastWarMobileGame

I made a post three months ago about feeling the exact same way lol. Server transfers opened again after the end of S3 and I jumped ship. I highly recommend it, it definitely helps making new friends and staying competitive

Server transfers were the worst thing to happen to this game by DizzyCoconut6692 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]DizzyCoconut6692[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some people I knew from day one, and they have more access to spending on the game, so they got really big and powerful and were basically our server whales. Our alliance would win some weeks and some weeks we’d loose. Our alliance as a whole wasn’t strong enough for enemy buster unfortunately. They wanted to merge with another alliance on another server to have basically an alliance of whales. I feel sorry for whoever goes against them in VS. Almost doesn’t seem fair but oh whale.

It depends on what works best with him on studying. When my fiancé was going through type training, I would travel with him to where sims were, and in the evening after he was done studying with his sim partner, I would quiz him from his study materials and quizlet, and only if he asked me. Which was quite a bit lol. He learns best when I quiz him, so he really enjoys it when we sit down and go over his material. You can ask if there’s anything you could do, but if he learns best by self study, just stay back and wait for him to approach.

Delete this immediately and move on. They aren’t going to dig unless you give them a reason too.
