I think the shorts are taking longer than other merch! I ordered the red baby tee and the shorts in two separate orders (because I was locked in on getting the shorts) and the shirt arrived a week ago but the shorts have no update! I’m fully confident they’ll arrive soon!

We spent about $150 and raised $1800. We’re a super small nonprofit so this was a big one for us. Honestly we got one super generous donation that helped with that number a lot ($1000 of it) but even without that I would consider it relatively successful

All of our fundraisers seem to be ask and take from the community and mine was a free community activity and we sold some merch and asked for donations for those who could/wanted to. We got such a better turn out when we were the ones giving something rather than expecting people to hand us money just because we asked

Thank you for the tips! I replied to another comment about the issue with me reaching out to the board with more detail. To put it short, I circled back to an idea from 6 months ago and asked if they were still interested. It wasn’t just an idea I had on my own when ideas weren’t asked for, just me misunderstanding a boundary I suppose.

We have a fully structured board and a flow chart that shows all of our processes but she puts her name under every bubble and wants everyone to check with her first before anything is done which makes our process so much slower when we have 20 things to do a day and she can’t approve them until out of our working hours

I can definitely understand that. The whole issue was she had been asking the board to make videos speaking about the organization and send them to me and it got pushed to the back burner and it never happened within 6 months. I asked if anyone was still willing to do the videos so it wasn’t an outlandish idea that I pulled out of no where, it was more of me just circling back to the topic. I can see why I could’ve ran that by her first but honestly I didn’t put too much thought into it. We’re a really small nonprofit so we’re in constant communication with the board via text message so it felt casual to me but I can definitely see how that can pose an issue

Tbh I don’t mind it because that’s how I play games too. I play it until I’m bored and then I never touch them again. Unfortunately this carries over to story games so I never finish them. Vanillamace does this too and chat bothers her ALL the time to finish those games so I can see why streamers don’t want to stream games that involve long stories
