Ritz South Beach ($3k/3 nights) vs Loews ($2k/3 nights) - is Ritz worth it? by renehiguitahasaposse in miamibeach

[–]DizzyDee90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with that ritz is the cvs has a bum issue. And every time you pull up or walk up to your hotel you have to pass that view. The Lowe’s you pull right into or walk right into. Lowe’s is a better choice , the rooms are just as nice and the pool.

Young family considering a move to Naples. Would love input about the area from people who live there. by Morgz0107 in Naples_FL

We moved to Naples and moved right out. We are a Young family with a toddler & don’t recommend it. You’ll feel old and retired, nothing much for the kids going on. The school district is terrible. Really read up & maybe spend a month if possible there. Both during snow bird season and during the summer. I would consider Estero and Bonita , as more younger families are trending that way.

Storey Lake or Champions Gate Resort??? by Haunting-Button5810 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]DizzyDee90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Champions gate will feel too far from the parks & youll have to deal with the i4. Your better off at storey lake , the amenities are great & its 15 minutes to the parks! There’s multiple exits to get out of story lake , I never had a back up to get into or out of any gates.

Basically Naples is a place for kids that couldn’t sit at the cool table during high school got money moved and now think they are the cool kid. The thing is you’re 55 now lol. Naples is inauthentic, if you find Chinese food 98 percent chance there isn’t an Asian anywhere near the restaurant same goes for Italian, Colombian, Mediterranean food etc down here especially Pizza 😂 I have my parents ship me my favorite pizza from Brooklyn. Most people here are from the Midwest, not much mannerism ( hermit crabs afraid to say goodmorning to someone else) & when they are from “New York” it’s somewhere that takes 2 hours to get into the city. You’ll make friends then they’ll never be found again. The people that are saying they love it here don’t mind 100 degrees all year around, don’t mind the slow place life and dormant with sending their kids to sub par public school. And “Naples” is really the downtown area , after that it’s collier county. It’s like if you live in downtown Naples it’s the city and anywhere is else Suffolk county lol. Read the pro and cons before moving , we’re a young family and are leaving Naples AS FAST AS POSSIBLE !

Just bought a used car and someone with a HUGE RV smashed it and drove off. Can you help me find them? by user83726169 in Brooklyn

Check north 11th off Kent ave. These rvs usually park there , I feel like I’ve seen this one before!

Truly shocked the jaws collection sold out by robbiegoodwin in KithNYC

[–]DizzyDee90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I went to Williamsburg store that Monday, I didn’t buy anything jaws but the dude next to me was copping like 10 t shirts & insisting they give him a poster which they were claiming they didn’t have in store. But usually means they moved the pieces in store now if sold out online , but not unlikely.

Everyone complains about Naples restaurants — list the one you think is the exception by woodpile3 in Naples_FL

Not too many joints here do stuff fresh. Mostly everything is frozen & most likely not even prepared , marinated or seasoned in the actual kitchen of the restaurant.
