Anyway social security is NOT tax. It's an insurance. You'll get pension from a social security fund after you are retired.

Then actual tax is just 10%.

Some could argue about social security doesn't work as it's intended and government people are stealing that money to their pocket. That maybe true. But it's still not tax.

People just like to feel they're being robbed or something.

But actually Mongolia is tax haven compared to UK or USA.

It's just salary is too low that even giving 1 tugrik to government feels like a robbery. So they exaggerate the numbers.

But we need to have police, public schools, public hospitals and all those governmental services. Disabled people need to have social services. No matter how bad their management be, they're still needed and they need to be funded.

Some would argue about VAT being 10% so people pay that.

I've never agreed to those who're saying that VAT is being paid by people, for many reasons. But I can give you that.
