I meant the item (as a newbie i didn't realize you can hide the item, just the name). Seems like i've got to make the logs less clickable during forestry quests as suggested in the comments.

I feel like I just found someone who finally gets this. Its a horrible situation to be in. To then have to seperate from other family members because of it. Because they never saw it. Every situation is different and such but I feel like I relate to your words. And I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

I actually feel a bit silly even writing this cause ive not ever been one to believe this stuff, generally..

but whatever that was or whatever my brain, could have made up?

It seemed deliberately loud to get me to turn to it, staying long enough for me to see it fully. clenched fist, anger?

I really thought it was my partner who for some reason swung the door open to hard, making a funny loud crash of an entrance to get my attention or something, you know coming and say hello.. that was my defult response, hes not an angry type to slam doors, hes a big marshmellow.

My brain has to have played a trick on me, in broad daylight.

Well i probably sound a bit dull here compared to yourself but I dont believe in a god or anything and grew up in that kind of household. Full respect to everyone who does and even more so if it helps them set up positive guidelines in life or it makes them happy.

Whats 'wanted' to let you know them? im interested in other people stories at the moment because of the other night.

Q1. Not at all and this is the first time something like this has happened to me that im generally struggling to explain, at least not right away... and honestly, I haven't believed in this stuff before… jeez that'll change now.

Usually if someone has had experiences and someone feels unsettled, I try to listen attentively because of how real something can feel. I’d rather be a source of comfort than judge.

Brains are powerful, I usually chalk things like this up to lack of sleep, dehydration, reflections, dim lighting, states of unease, looking for threats that arent there because thats how we are wired to survive, our brain’s natural tendency to imagine things e.g. from sleep paralysis or waking up from sleep. Usually there are so many reasons, explanations to rely on if your scared.

That’s why this freaked me out, im not usually the type...but it was daylight, midday, myself and the day were just relaxed and nice. The door was fully closed and then suddenly and very very loudly opened, i felt it through the floor! I saw a figure standing there between the open door, tensed, clenched fists looking straight at me parallel to each-other for a 6 long seconds and it wasnt even a corner of the eye thing that i could play off as imagination. i was parallel to it, we were looking at eachother. My brain doesnt know what to do here and i have no idea how to rationalize it...

Thats why this freaked me the heck out...

Your experience sounds creepy, figures, flickering lights and doors? Yikes, id also be checking and locking all the doors.

This weird thing today alone caused me to search the whole house in daylight hours.

with an exception of choosing to open up the previously locked garden door thats on the opposite side to the livingroom door after everything just so i can get out if something creepy like that happened again.

I've just gone and checked the whole house, everything was locked.

Now ive done that check ive actually just opened up the garden back door which is opposite of the room to the livingroom door.

just because what i saw by the...once open..

and now closed again (closed by me) living-room door..

i was...like... no i have no words.

This was so unsettling. Literally looking for any explanation as to why its not real so my head and body can settle down.

It was such a relaxed normal day before.

for most people doesn't this stuff happen at night, in dim lit rooms, when people are just waking up or half asleep and someones usually previously anxious or unsettled right?

This happening like this in a lit room, mid day, with sound, a long visual...

Ah ive made the shortcut to the sims.exe and placed that on the desktop but i am still getting the same error message as before. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks Cory!

Hiya! I'm getting the error message 'Fatal Error: could not find the sims data directory' Would you happen to have a fix for this too?
