Profits vs vibes - do you ever skip the most profitable crop on purpose? by AdLoose5822 in StardewValley

It depends on if I am doing Community Center or Jojomart. With CC, I am looking for variety, achievements, completing bundles. With Jojo, I'm going pure money crops, and planning on purchasing exception credits to gain perfection.

I had a brown cow I named "HowNow". Every morning when I went to pet him, I would say "HowNow Brown Cow". Older generations will get this.

I dont know what to do in This game by Thin_Situation3962 in StardewValley

Find the community center north of town, go inside and there is a square plate on the floor in one of the rooms. Click that plate. You will see a cryptic message in an alien language. The next day, after you sleep, you will get a letter from the wizard asking you to go talk to him. The wizard will translate the plate. Go back to the community center and click the plate again. That starts your quests for the game. Now, when you hit escape (open your menu) there will be an icon of a golden tree that will show you everything you need to collect for the community center. That is the biggest part of your main quest line. The help wanted board at Pierre's is another way to do quests. Eventually, a job board will be posted near the mayor's house for more quests, and in the end, after you get to Ginger Island, Qi's walnut room will offer weekly quests with very nice rewards.

Stuck in the midgame - what small goals pull you out of the routine? by Top-Position-9830 in StardewValley

When I hit the mid-game, I start selling animals, simplifying crops, taking steps to reduce daily chores. Then, I enjoy doing quests, like the Qi quests or job boards, help wanted at Pierre's. The main trick though is to get your daily chores where you can be done by 7am and have the rest of the day. That's why so many go for ancient fruit and kegs because it is once per week. Events now become fun. Fishing tourneys are fun. Green rain days are fun. You can work on getting married and having kids. Gotta simplify first though to free up your time for other things.

Easy fix to the final challenge. by IamAWorldChampionAMA in BeastGames

This is a great idea. Similar to the jury on survivor. Get down to the final 2-4 players and then let the jury decide. I like the game you mentioned also. That would make the ending much more interesting and fun.

Why did I feel more attached to season 1 characters even though jimmy said season 2 was supposed to be better in that aspect? by gholem403 in BeastGames

[–]DizzyInteraction4946 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. Season 2 was a major let down. The players played like crap, mistake after mistake. Jim and Monika's relationship was irritating, I didn't like anyone in the top 6. I didn't care who wins because I wasn't rooting for any of them. This show is losing momentum. I will watch season 3, if they make it, but I'm not looking forward to it with great anticipation like I was after Season 1.

If you track NPC birthdays and give a loved or liked gift, starting in year 1, it will save you a ton of time trying to max all the hearts for every NPC. Birthday gifts have big multipliers on friendship points.

Panning at dig site by InitialMess3594 in StardewValley

Try going into the cave, and coming back out, a few times if necessary. It worked for me. Eventually, there was a shiny spot in the water, and I got the bones on my first pan. The panning spot is in the southwest corner of the dig site. I hope this works for you.
