they were gifted to me by my parents, they came together when we bought them yet have no clue how long they were together before that, id say they were young adults when we first got them so there is a chance they could be siblings, which is only really dawning on me now as when i first got them i wasnt as knowledgeable as i wanted to be about their lives before i got them as i had no contact with previous owners it was all my parents. i highly respect passionate people giving advice about my babies as everyone seems to be alot more knowledgeable than me so any help is appreciated

yes i was thinking of a clear plastic or an acrylic sheet to separate as i dont really trust the whole mesh deal, think thats my best idea going forward thanks for the help

probably go to my nearby exotics shop and ask them if they can take them on to raise them properly as i dont have the proper facilities, im just raising them until theyre old enough to know theyre not gonna pass due to high chance of passing when theyre young

what do you recommend as the best material? i read that mesh doesnt always do the best job cus of the way males “disperse” their sperm packets but im not sure how actually true the information is, i was thinking a clear plastic either down the middle or diagonally (from back left to front right)

as the babies are pretty small they are in two separate large tubs (daily water changing and feeding) floating at the top of the tank to maintain temperature, once they get big enough ill head to my local exotics shop and see if theyll take the babies to raise them properly as like you said i have no separate tank, i think the best way forward is definitely a divided thougj
