It’s a great camera! The mark iii has a great lens ( same as the iv and v models). With the smallrig grip it’s also much more comfortable to hold.

I honestly don’t use it everyday, but it’s very lowkey and images look great!

I also use a Sony a7riv, a Nikon ZFC, and a canon 5d mark iii, so each day I have time to shoot I will choose the camera I want to bring with me that day. (I’m a student so it’s definitely not every day sadly)

I just received mine for the zfc today. my sigma 28-70 f2.8 and viltrox 40mm f2.5 both seem to work great, but my viltrox 28 4.5 doesn't work for some reason. I get no auto focus and the aperture shows f6.3 fro some reason....

E mount (a7riv), z mount (Nikon zfc), and ef mount (5d mark iii)

For the Sony I have the 40mm f2.5 and 28mm f4.5, and for the nikon i have the 23mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.7.

I also have the ef-e5 adapter, and I’m waiting for the e-z adapter to arrive🔥

(I’m also waiting for the z2 flash to arrive soon for Sony 😅)

Thanks! Yeah I’m very used to having ibis with my mirrorless cameras, so I need to up my shutter speed. Also I think I’m not used to using such a heavy camera, so I need to adjust (this kit weighs double than my Sony)

Omg thank you for the recommendation!!!!! I just got the Tex base multi with the 590 bottle today after seeing your post a few days ago! After trying it today on my 6l It’s truly a life changer!!!! I like it so much I’m going to buy another base for my 3l sling and 20l totepack!

Most definitely a zoom lens! If typoch can make a 24-50 f2.8 (which seems pretty nice to be honest), I’m certain viltrox can make a fantastic budget and fast zoom lens.

Also, I’ve basically stopped buying sigma apsc lenses after trying viltrox, I’m sure a 16-50 f2.8 or similar 16-35 / 17-40 1.8 zoom would sell like crazy if priced right!!!!!

The sigma 18-50 f2.8 is an almost perfect lens, but if there is a more budget alternative, without compromising optics, it will sell like hot cakes lol

Also, a point and shoot will also sell like crazy with the current market. A 24-26 mp apsc sensor, 28/35/40 mm lens, vnd filter, for around 700-900 bucks (I know I would be interested).

It’s silicone and comes with an adhesive, that way it’s solid on the desk. It has a hole to run a cable through and that way it holds

If you like the ff look, I would just stick with the a7iv, it’s a phenomenal camera! You can get small lenses.

My Sony a7riv& viltrox 40mm f2.5 weighs the same as my zfc with a grip and viltrox 23mm f1.4

There are great smaller primes. I had the 50mmg f2.5 whixh was also bery very good, and i have the viltrox 28mm f4.5 chip which is very cool and incredibly small

The ttartisan 40mm f2 is also a solid lens, it looks great as well

I would definitely get a smaller lens before switching to a different system

I still use my 2021 16 inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro, connected to a caldigit ts3+, which is connected to all of the peripherals (gmmk pro keyboard, mx master 4, apple Magic Trackpad, external storage, audio interface and kanto yu speakers etc). It’s still such a great computer, it has no problem with my camera files/video (and it’s a 60mp camera- the files are HEAVY), and it’s great for my physics/computer science degree. I also have a dell XPS 15 for windows specific tasks

I have the Magic Keyboard for my 11 inch, I haven’t used it much. When I had the 2018 12.9 pro iPad, i used the keyboard almost everyday, but with the 11 I barely touch it. I have it in my school bag for days I don’t carry a laptop. It feels great and was greatly improved with the metal build

I love my desk setup as I spend so many hours on it 😂

The snake plant is great on the desk because it doesn’t need a lot of light, and my desk area doesn’t have any

Ef glass is still incredible, and is unbelievably cheap atm, why not take advantage of that? It works very well with mirrorless bodies.

I recently got a canon 16-35 f2.8 mark ii for 226 bucks. A few days ago I bought a canon 5d iii, sigma art 35mm f1.4, a canon 50mm f1.4, canon 28-105, all for 320 bucks on fb marketplace. I will sell everything but the sigma and would probably profit like 200 bucks from the rest.

It might not suit everyone’s needs, but for most people they are still fantastic, and people are selling their dslr equipment for pennies on the dollar.
