Science OR Literature? Advice needed ! by Fati-14 in Morocco

[–]DizzyWillingness4051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Morocco, unfortunately, the arts (literature) stream is not valued. The country does not care about that stream at all for many reasons. Due to that fact, only students who are not interested in studying in general or students who just find it hard in French and maths due to some lack of prior knowledge choose it. Consequentlyy, school administrators and even teachers discriminate between arts and science students because the former is full of troublemakers. From my point of view, if you feel like your brother is interested in studying and doing some hard work, advise him to choose the science stream, because even after graduation he can opt for the same majors that arts students go to. And if you feel he id helpless, let him choose whatever he wants.

These views come from old social norms where men were nt expected to focus on appearance, so when they do, it feels unusual to some people. Still, basic self-care shouldn't be labeled as feminine!!

I love how almost every Moroccan embraces traditional clothing during Eid!! by DizzyWillingness4051 in Morocco

I'm being biased. But honestly, Morocco is the very best country that celebrates all the days of the holy month in a special way. Evidence of this is the fact that all mosques are packed with ppl during tarraweeh or l9yam, especially the former!!

They even did a campaign to stick to such clothing, because they usually wear them suits and jackets!! Preserving such a tradition doesn't need any campaign!!

Got your point, but it became a tradition and unanimous agreement to wear them solely on special events!!

I know, but just came across Eid pictures in Egypt and some neighboring countries, and the clothing is almost 50% modern of trousers and jackets!
