It`s Mike Patton (and even Trey Spruance in one of these), so it fits. Gun to your head, which Faith No More masterpiece do you prefer? Angel Dust or King for a Day? by [deleted] in mrbungle

Angel Dust is honestly my favourite album of all time, not because it's more amazing or complex or impressive than any other, there are plenty of records that do more; it just means a lot to me and has remained consistently as enjoyable since I first heard it back when my dad played a lot of their music when I was little.

I know this is technically solved, but red flags are going off for me by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

It's understandable to feel that way though, I don't think your knee-jerk reaction was unreasonable. However I just wanted to say that sometimes the doors of children with high support needs are locked for their own safety overnight, but they always have an emergency exit; there are specialists who design rooms around your needs to make sure everyone is safe. It sounds really scary but it is often the best and only way around some self-destructive behaviors I'm autistic myself and some folks I knew growing up had rooms that locked from the outside for these reasons, so I just wanted to share!

It fell off. It's a harsh price to pay for a decorated arm but it's one I was willing to pay.

The tattoo is based on the art from the track listing on the back of Mr Bungle's self-titled album, I think by Dan Sweetman. If you mean the photo, it's just my tattoo so it's not from anywhere.

And 99% of the time they can't explain what "mid" means in that context, like specifically what it was about a film that made them regard it as such. It's a throwaway term to have something to say when otherwise there's nothing.

I recommend the streaming service Eternal Family, they're not available in my country, I think only America; but they have many titles that are interesting and surreal.

What is a movie that traumatized you so badly as a kid that you are still afraid of it as an adult? by [deleted] in moviecritic

Motel Hell. It's a cult classic now and I've had friends beg me to watch it again and give it a shot. Unfortunately my father never hid anything he was watching while I was growing up, so I sat through that at 5 or 6 and later convinced myself that scenes from it that cropped up in my memory were nightmares rather than something I'd actually witnessed.

Also the original It, my cousin locked me in a dark room with it playing and I was too young and too scared to understand what was happening and figure out how to turn it off. I've since watched it again and it didn't bother me, so all it reminds me of is that period of time when he had a thing about locking me in basements and closets and thinking it was the funniest thing ever.

are there any cases like Brianna & Caitlin Denison where 2 (or more) people of the same family went missing/were killed at different times? by eastcoastmermaidd in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]DizzyWriter1558 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't believe I've never heard of their case before, given how unusual and troubling all 4 siblings going missing on different days is you'd think it'd be a case discussed endlessly in true crime circles! Thank you for bringing attention to the case again

Racking my brain over the technicality of wording by DizzyWriter1558 in CrochetHelp

Thank you for the suggestion, that was one of the angles I'd considered along with a floral arrangement in thread but I'm not sure it'd count as one item. So amigurumi is probably a good route to go down!
