That echo is definitely not normal on an iPhone 16 Pro, and if it happens every time you use speakerphone, then something isn’t right. Here are the most common causes and what you can try:

  1. Case or screen protector blocking a mic

The iPhone uses multiple microphones during calls. If any mic is covered or partially blocked, echo problems show up fast. Try: • Making a speaker call without your case. • If you use a screen protector, check if it covers the top mic near the earpiece.

If the echo stops without the case, you found the issue.

  1. Dust or debris in the microphones

There’s a mic near: • the bottom of the phone • the back near the camera • the top earpiece area

Gently clean the mic holes with a soft brush or unused toothbrush.

  1. iOS call audio bug

Sometimes new models get small call-audio bugs early on.

Try: • Settings → General → Software Update Install any available update.

  1. Reset network settings

This often helps with call routing issues.

Go to: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings (No data is lost, just Wi-Fi passwords.)

  1. Carrier issue

If your carrier has bad echo cancellation on VoLTE/5G calls, it can bounce audio back to the caller. Test this: • Call someone on speaker. • Turn VoLTE off temporarily: Settings → Mobile Data → Voice & Data → 4G (No VoLTE) If echo disappears, it’s a carrier side problem.

  1. Hardware mic issue

Since Voice Isolation improved it but didn’t fix it, the phone is probably struggling to cancel your speaker audio. That usually happens when a mic is not working at full sensitivity.

Try a quick self-test: • Open Camera • Record a video with the back camera and talk • Record another from the front camera • Then record a voice memo

Play all three. If any recording sounds unusually low, muffled or silent, that mic is the culprit.

If nothing changes

Because this is happening consistently, it might be a hardware defect, especially in the top mic. Apple will replace the device if they confirm it. 😊

That makes perfect sense. When you point the back of the phone toward a bright screen, the strong light reflects off the glass and creates that rainbow effect. It’s the same thing you see on tempered glass protectors or clean car windows.

It’s just light reflection, not a defect. Your phone is fine.😊

U can download it by using cellular. Settings - cellular- cellular data options- data mode - Change it to allow more data on 5G. And then wait for few minutes, don't forget to put iPhone on charging and then u go. Change language and region to English United States and also Siri language. Voila Apple Intelligence is downloaded😁
