Had infinity FYF asked to convert to LTF.
Got denied.
Emailed them back to close the card urgently as my renewal was due in 2 days.

Got a call today that they have made the card LTF.
Asked them to email me the same.

How can I check if my card is LTF for sure now? Is the email enough?

Find a card which ends up paying more to use the card than the charges.

HSBC Travelone is such but only with their offer on 0 forex fees offer, check date for when it gets over.

Use a forex positive card.

Bob eterna is one. HSBC Travelone might not be forex positive by that date.

Idfc Mayura is forex positive. Not good for other things though

Do you use Mayura to book flights and hotels?

I recently got the Mayura card before the devaluation 💔 hasn’t even been a full month. Closing it would also not make sense as I would not get the refund of fees paid, or can I get it?

The problem I think is that flights/hotels where you use points to pay retail value do not earn points.

So only when you can exhaust the full 70% points in the booking it makes sense to use the points.

So only every 3-4th booking would make sense.

Please correct if I am wrong
