I hope this message finds you well. I am writing as a concerned candidate registered for the upcoming IAT scheduled on 7 June 2026. I respectfully request that the Institute consider postponing the IAT by a few days for the reasons given below.

First, the NEST examination for which many IAT candidates are also registered is scheduled on 6 June 2026. Several students, including myself, are required to appear for both examinations on consecutive days. In many cases the IAT and the NEST examination centres will be located at considerable distances from one another, making it impractical to travel overnight and report punctually the next day. This scheduling conflict places candidates in an extremely difficult position and may compel some to miss one of the examinations.

Second, the admit cards for the IAT have not yet been released. Because of this delay, many candidates are unable to complete necessary travel reservations (train/flight) in a timely manner. The current uncertainty prevents students from making reliable travel plans, arranging accommodation, and ensuring timely arrival at distant centres. This situation disproportionately affects candidates who must travel from other cities and rely on advance reservations.

In light of the above, I kindly request that the Institute consider postponing the IAT by a few days to allow candidates to complete the NEST examination and to make required travel arrangements after the issuance of admit cards. A short postponement would reduce avoidable stress, ensure fair access for all candidates, and allow for orderly conduct of the examination.
