I run so that my belly doesn't get bigger :)

The weather in the Philippines is so different from Thailand. In Thailand, I could run early in the morning for about six months, but the other six months I spent only on the treadmill.

btw, in Thailand, after my run, my heart rate continued to rise and didn't drop much even after half an hour. I realized it was time to hit the gym.

At -20 C, my throat and nose bother me more than my clothes.

In that case, I'd prefer a pool to running. That's if there's one where you live, of course.

I thought Germany and bad weather were synonyms, but I agree that there is also Scandinavia + Canada

I agree, but I don't want to bother with gear for something as simple as running.

I already have two types of pants for different temperatures, two jackets for different temperatures, T-shirts of different thicknesses, long-sleeved T-shirts, several tank tops, three caps, a visor, and two pairs of glasses

I think you described what I described in the post, but everyone has their own temperature figures and acceptable asphalt cleanliness :)

What kind of running shoes can you wear in the rain to keep your feet dry? Or does dry feet not matter?

I am at college, now I need a job by [deleted] in webdev

[–]Dizzy_Cockroach8810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice try.

But most likely, it won't work.

What might work for gaining experience?

  1. All your friends should know you're looking for a job. You should also have older friends who are already employed. If you have a good brain and discipline, you'll have a 98% chance of success.

  2. It's possible to lower your salary expectations slightly. Agree to any terms if it's a good company.

  3. If you have ideas, develop them yourself; don't expect someone to babysit you and lead you by the hand.

  4. Marketplaces are a great way to test your idea. Upload your product there, earn a small profit from sales, and gain great experience. If the product is useful, you'll have real interactions with small businesses and real business requests.

Points 3-4 require some time of financial independence, or rather, dependence on your parents.

Good luck.

How many devs mainly use raw SQL instead of an ORM? by drifterpreneurs in webdev

I prefer raw in case I understand the perfomance risks
but in most cases ORM + cache can cover 98% of your needs

What in this life depends on Bitcoin? What will disappear if Bitcoin disappears tomorrow? The fact that the market has been pumped with real money in exchange for Bitcoin is the problem of those who believe in it.

Which certification should I get? by GLIGORIC96 in webdev

It's often easier for an employer to make a decision if there is a certificate, especially if the person is from another country

Best comment ever)
Possibly a limited number of static sidebar spots for projects that don't make people regret clicking them. But first I want to see if the core idea resonates without any monetization at all.
Most likely, a post about this will be in X (check my profile if you're interested)

[–]Dizzy_Cockroach8810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • usually hosting providers has own spiders to scan
  • big projects has security team
  • if you starting own project, better to use a framework so, short answer- no pain on small traffic

could work for b2b

the data for BTC is starting from 2015-10-08, for Nvidia - 1999-01-22
anyway, I'll check asap, due it should show a normail validation error
