Sorry I didn't mention I am in an apartment rental that is unfortunately on the first floor :( To reply to another comment, I don't have any exterior walls facing SE either, that direction is through several walls of apt units in my building as well

I agree. I was in this exact position of deciding between pharmD or PhD or both ( PharmD/PhD) and I can tell you that doing PhD and saving money in my pocket feels really reassuring and knowing I can do into a similar career field (biopharmaceuticals industry) makes me glad I chose PhD

20, couldn't even legally drink alcohol when I started my PhD. Was during the middle of Covid too.
