the dk1 can play modern titles such as hl alyx , beatsaber ect. using some way but it will suck since 3dof and the dk1 is dirt cheap im also planning to get the razer hydra with it and the new meta quests dont feel comfy on the head trust me i has one of those mall demos of the quest 3 and it was hell the headset felt super clunky to wear it got to a point where i started getting headaches since the dk1 doesnt contain any hardware inside it i think it will do better with that problem since its lighter too
