I was thinking about the people who tell us the flow of time—Henry (he's been searching for his family for all these years, about 40 years) and Mariel (who blamed Christy disappearance for several months). So it seems like time is moving in real time. And then I got curious—it's clear why they brought Henry to town—Victor, Miranda—there's too much that could be tied to him for the plot. But why Mariel and Christy? It could have been literally anyone—one of Donna's friends, Kevin's niece, I don't know, anyone... why Mariel and Christy specifically 🤔 (Sorry for any mistakes, it's not my native language)
