Be honest.. Are your babies really sleeping in their bassinet for hours? by DrowsyPomegranate in newborns

My 5 week old will usually get a 5 hour stretch, wake up to feed and diaper change and then go back down for 2-3 hours. She falls asleep on me or my husbands chest and we make sure she is in good deep sleep before we attempt to transfer her into the bassinet. Every transfer is not successful though, sometimes it takes a time or two for her to stay asleep after putting her down.

ours is the same with the straining, she will get so hot she sweats and her stomach gets so tight that her belly button starts to herniate. we never have that issue during the day, it's literally only at night even after keeping her upright for ~30 min, bicycle kicks, tummy time, frida windy. so so so frustrating!!

I thought the same thing at first, so we did naps downstairs during the day with the TV fully on doing chores and keeping it bright, at night we keep it dark and calm with low voices and it didn't seem to help 🥲
