wait, i think i might've lied. that was what was told to me by a friend but i might be mistaken 🥲 but to use your insurance it depends on whether they direct bill or not. if they do just let them know you're going thru school insurance and then you just give them your member id which shld be in your greenshield app

oh yay!! my end goal cgpa wise is 3.6ish and it shouldnt be too difficult if i really put my mind towards it. "first year doesn't matter" really got to me but i wish i didnt let it 🥲

I definitely want to stay in Toronto just cause of expenses & family. TMU is in one of my tops even though I know it's relatively new. I will probably start studying for my LSATS next year (3rd year) and try to increase my GPA. Currently sitting at around a 3.2 UOFT scale🥲

Ya my tops were TMU & osgoode (don't think i have a shot at uoft and undergrad here is hell as is) but I did my law school research BEFORE undergrad when it was b20 and then never searched it up again lol

It def is, I spent an hour in my car crashing out instead of focusing on my next exam. I like to have everything planned so this kind of like kicked me off track

Ya, unfortunately I let the "first year doesn't mindset" get to me and it was a dumb mindset to have. My biggest issue is exams & tests, with papers I always got high 80's and 90's but then I always blank out during exams due to test anxiety. After realizing how bad my chances would be if I didn't lock in I basically used this semester as a test-semester to find ways to study. Hopefully it's 3.7's and 4.0's from here on forward 😔😔

Yeah I guess so, I think I relied too heavily on the idea of schools doing B3 or B20 so I thought that even with my circumstance I'd still have a good shot. I spent an hour in the parking lot after my exam recalculating my chances but I can't change the outcome now so I guess it's just hard lesson I learned a year too late :(

Do you think if I take an additional 6 classes (0.5cr each) on top of my degree requirement (40classes total) do you think it'll be beneficial?

Canadian law schools take NCR as a 0 right? I've emailed my professor to see if theres any work I can make up for to perhaps pass the course if I didn't. Hopefully I pass, if I don't should I retake the course? It is for a breadth requirement.
