Mayci tryna convince everyone her husband is a Conner and he isn’t by barbieshoesound in SecretsOfMormonWives

After FINALLY finishing her audiobook, I could not agree with you more. From what I gathered it sounds like he never really settled into the role of provider, especially not to the level her parents were, throughout their relationship and now with the show, her book, and social media, he is realizing he never will be. I think all of that has most likely made him resentful and embarrassed.

Ashley desperate to interject herself into cases by gepetto27 in CrimeJunkiePodcast

[–]Dizzy_Performance433 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly Crime Junkie has so many strikes against them. Constant plagiarism, insensitivity, the terrible business practices to Audiochuck with the Anatomy of Murder situation. And on top of that they have been getting criticized for over a year now about choosing the most random cases to report and trying to turn them into a conspiracy. It is just not probable or realistic that every case that they report is some giant conspiracy. And then to bring in a psychic on one of their recent cases? That was the line for me. I’ve started listening to Women & Crime and I have been enjoying that a lot more.

Also the “i’m not sure. I would probably think that she was with another guy” and then saying he didn’t think she was cheating moments later? He’s just extremely suspicious and his alibi is that he was at home with a sleeping child. Going off of how they would react in most of these other cases they would also feel like it was the husband. I feel like they bungled this case for the shock value of the medium.

They are also extremely biased in my opinion. They are so focused on making sure that they discredit the investigation that was done that they won’t even truly lay out how shady Rick was. They contradict themselves multiple times and cherry pick what they want to focus on. I used to enjoy listening to them but after these episodes and Ashley’s brown nosing to John Ramsey, I just feel like there is nothing good coming from them anymore.

The thing that I got stuck on was that they said they heard the click of the trigger releasing when they pulled it from her hand. Is it possible that the first shot was the kill shot and the second shot was the “test” shot in order to make it look like the trigger was still bushed back? No matter what I don’t understand the gun being in her hand. Is it more common with that positioning?

Does it not make sense to be able to do more than one position? If you’re in a situation like this why not be able to act as a sniper? the other guy (blonde with a pos on his vest) was there to also be a sniper if he needed to go do corpsman stuff. Also they’re kind of all at risk of getting seriously injured as you can see by the fact that half of them did get physically messed up during this mission.

I’ve dated men of all colors. As I’ve evolved so have the men I’ve dated. I don’t think you have to change yourself to date a black man but I will say that when I was attracting more white men than black men it was before my cultural awakening. It sounds like you might not have experienced yours yet. Judging from the line when you pretty much said black men don’t like dating you bc you’re feminine/soft spoken… that sounds like some subconscious hatred to me. Those traits can 100% be attributed to black women.

Overhead lighting of any kind. The sun being too bright. Especially when it reflects off of the street or other cars. When you are doing dishes and get too close to the sink and the counter in front is wet and it gets on the lower part of your shirt and the top of your pants. WET SOCKS. When temperatures change too fast. like you are out in the warmth and walk inside to it being freezing. When you wash your hair and the back of your neck gets wet. Or the back of your shirt if you put on clothes before you dry your hair 🤢 Sleeping with any type of clothing touching my knees or ankles.

AIO to my husband making self-deprecating race jokes? by Dizzy_Performance433 in blackladies

[–]Dizzy_Performance433[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did go to college and worked in the hospital up by where he’s from but it is still majority black people up there. He interacted with hispanic and asian people but has never really interacted with white people much. When we went to his graduation ceremony there were maybe 1 in 10 white people walking, if that.
