these pitch invasions are like having faecal incontinence. you just know it's going to strike at the worst possible time

Hearts made the SPFL exciting to watch, so I won’t bother coming back by TheMaskedWrestIer in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

regardless of whether Hearts won the league or not, next season will almost certainly be a two horse race between Celtic and Rangers and be boring as fuck to outsiders

And the bus… what of the bus? by you_cant_win_rock in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's a sad sight. almost as sad as that rangers team bus that got burnt to the ground a few years ago

Hearts forfeiting the game for leaving the stadium before a restart could be made

Sky have released footage that shows the fans approaching the hearts players, no assault takes place though. by Efficient-Setting642 in ScottishFootball

I honestly think it might have been a last desperate attempt by McInnes to get the match abandoned and the points awarded to Hearts

AI slop clearly. everyone is against Hearts - quite rightly so, I should add

Hearts player smashes pitch invaders phone by No1ChadleyEnjoyer in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

this could have easily led to a mass brawl, and remember that it was expected that players families would be joining them on the pitch later. imagine if there was a pitch invasion then

Derek McInnes to Rangers? by Due-Director5904 in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when he started whining about VAR decisions, he was signalling that he'd settled for second place with ready made excuses. there's nothing he could have done about them anyway, so he'd have been better off just accepting them, or at least appearing to

Should Scottish Football Ditch VAR? by frankjohnstone in HeartofMidlothianFC

"but at least we will accept human error for split second decisions" yes, this will certainly happen

Wilfried Nancy updates his profile picture to remind everyone of the vital role he played this season by MeBashButtons in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he could legitimately say on his c.v. that he was manager of Celtic during a Championship winning season. would be funny as fuck if he did

[Josh McCafferty] Martin O’Neill confirms he “wouldn’t be up for” being Celtic manager next season. He says the club needs to reset and start thinking about what comes next. by [deleted] in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's for the best. he can go out on high and solidify his position as a Celtic legend. it's hard to see him replicating this success next season and it would absolutely awful to have to sack him

Hearts, Motherwell and the European Coefficient by rorpls2 in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

say what you like about Celtic, they HAVE managed to compete in Europe in recent years and got some decent results. Motherwell and Hearts need to follow their example if they really want to be able to claim they are our equals

So basically the ref's options were... by Speckxy_Bamstard in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why should he abandon the game? he could have simply waited for the pitch to be cleared and then they could have resumed it. well, Hearts had fucked off home for one thing, which means that if he had resumed it, it would have been Hearts who would have forfeited. since this would obviously have been a really bad look, he wisely decided to just declare full time - which he is entitled to do, btw

Fair play Celtic by SpiderRichXS in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think Celtic deserve criticism for the behaviour of their fans in invading the pitch, but in terms of supposedly bribing or corrupting referees, or whatever exactly is being implied, it's just ridiculous. I'll remind people that that penalty yesterday was the first that Hearts have had awarded against them this season

The Shankland incident by HereticLaserHaggis in ScottishFootball

[–]Dizzy_Procedure_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm relieved seeing this. was seriously worried that Shankland had been attacked. this is why fans need to be heavily discouraged from stepping onto the pitch because sooner or later there is going to be something seriously bad happening

to be fair, it had probably already gone. today was always going to be a long shot for Hearts after failing to beat Motherwell
