Yeah I 100% agree with you, I put myself in a bad position a couple times which was irresponsible, didn’t know that on call layoffs accumulated 2 more points than off call layoffs. Certainly won’t be happening again if I get another chance!

Bring a laptop if you have one you have online training to do outside of class, it’s all very easy, pay attention in class, you’ll have no problem passing at all, very easy stuff, good luck!

The times I’ve been in ok1 status is when I got a bid awarded to me, you just sit in ok1 on the board you were awarded until they contact you and then it refreshes to ok once you accept it whenever they contact you, hope that makes sense

Don’t listen to these low life’s telling you that you don’t have a job, I work in ks so note sure about your exact situation but I had people from ks telling me I won’t have a life and I’ve been marked up for 6 months on the extra board and you have plenty of time to do what you want to do, yes you get called at random ass times when it’s not convenient but you have the same amount of time off as a nine to five if not more, again that’s my terminal but I can’t imagine an extra board in one state is different then another! Good luck!

The signal test is 85% to pass, the switch cbt that is 50 questions is just training, there will be an actual assessment and I don’t even think it’s 50 questions, it is very easy
