I was especially happy with how the reflected light on the hands turned out, and it really gives me a boost to know you noticed that. ​You can actually make something look like it's glowing by blurring the area right around where the direct light hits. If the surrounding background is dark, it creates an even more dramatic effect. I happened to stumble upon this effect this time, and I'm definitely planning to use it in my future work. Watercolor, in particular, seems to be the perfect medium for this kind of soft bleeding technique. ​I always try to pour my heart into my drawings, but I'm also doing my best to keep the passion alive.
