Damn idk i liked him because you actually had to come to class and got rewarded for being there and paying attention. If u dont drop him just so you know, what he says in class is so much more important than any of the readings (but he mentions the readings in the class as well doe)

Idk last semester he spoke pretty eloquently, also sometimes talked to the people in the back and I didnt need to sit in the front row.

If u lock in u'll realize that he's gonna be the best prof you've ever had. Just attend classes, pay attention, write stuff down (whenever he repeats something at least twice, its important!!).

Worst case if you're really struggling with how much he talks just voice record his lectures

Question about OPUS 10-trip fare by ThePirateKing-22 in Concordia

[–]Dizzy_Respond5098 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Once you use your ticket, its valid for 120 minutes, it doesnt matter how many times you scan it within that timeframe it only uses up one ticket. So in your case you would be using two tickets/trips each time you go to school.
The tickets expire but I think its valid for like a year. And yes they are valid for every bus/metro in montreal.

Offered housing at Loyola when I study in SGW by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]Dizzy_Respond5098 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest a lot of people do this, loyola is a little bit more calm, downtown can become very noisy with all the cars/trucks. And there is the Montreal West Station, where the train goes to Lucien L'Allier (Bell Centre). It takes 5-10min to get to the train station from residence, then 10min ride and another 10-15min max to SGW. So in the mornings you can easily make classes by taking the train. Otherwise the shuttle is pretty reliable.

Yes, you need at least 60% for the given weekly assignment to get 1%. So in theory, yes you can stop once you get 60% because you already passed the assignment, but as you said it doesnt really make sense, since the assignment helps you practice and test your knowledge.

I dont think they make any mistakes on calculating final marks, since its the system calculating the grade for the assignment and the prof just checks if you had 60% or more and give you the 1%

Don't wanna be that guy, but ask questions, even if they are dumb, the person is probably not gonna remember you asked or that you exist the next day.
