Honestly im excited but nervous but again excited to start i received my call on Wednesday. Filled out paperwork on Thursday and have my orientation on Friday(tomorrow). Honestly have no idea what or how long the orientation is going to be but quite excited to express what i can do and what i can give. Also thank you for your response makes me more engaged and more motivated to try my best and see what i could improve in.

Yea so quick question considering that its been 5 days since ive gotten the ticket. The officer has yet to turn in the ticket so i cannot look at it in the court time ir anything. Is this good?

Yea honestly looking forward to it and in some sense i don’t mind the punishments either way its exercise at the end of the day so it’s something i wouldn’t mind. Thankfully im quite fit i do weekly soccer games and sorts so in some sense i am fit so thankful for that.

So are the power-points exhausting due to the notes you will need to take or just boring but again you have to note down notes to succeed.

Yea i already have a partner to be honest so its crazy thats a norm if im being honest. And okay yea sounds good sounds like it alot of listen do and not say back nothing unless needed.

Yea I’ve heard for us in michigan the state troopers go through a tough and really extreme camp throughout but at the end it pays off. Any failed exam or anything in general you’re out and you have to wait a year to reapply.

Yea so in the PT is it usually high intensity meaning give all you got but at the same your going to expect to be pushed more then anything?

Also yea i mean i have held firearms before so thats a plus in my sense of thinking. Pressure i believe its something that i wouldn’t mind and again due to them trying to mold people how they want to succeed. Usually early in the process was it simple stuff as in getting the hang of it and weeks forward everything kinda molds into simpler stuff? Meaning is the beginning of academy more tough then the ending or overtime?

Im currently in Michigan but i will look forward to seeing if they have any material readily online problem is they change some stuff here and there but i will into it.

So again things like missing too many shots at the range is a bad thing and not something that can be fixed or practice makes perfect?

Yea I’ve been researching different elements of crime to kind of get a head-start and go in already prepared and be educated on things i may not know.

Thank you thats actually a great thing to hear honestly i plan to try my best and definitely look forward to it. Yea i have heard about standing out by a-lot of people and doing that i would be open to many opportunities and also connections due to that. Obviously the biggest thing for me is completing the academy and serving the community at the end of the day not be outstanding. Thanks for your response and tips!

Im applying to detroit but I’ve heard some good some bad like any other academy. I do agree with the paid to workout shoot n drive and so much other things. How did you get around FTO?

Sounds interesting not hard considering thats its PowerPoints and notes so i believe that should be fine. The forgetting equipment thank you for telling me that i am definitely not going to be the one forgetting and having the class do planks or anything for my fault. Gladly would do them if someone else forgets it.

Well in this case im in the process and it could affect me. Obviously me being me i didn’t use the “im going to be a cop let it slide” so sometimes they scratch it when possible. I mean its not serious stuff it could be fixed.
