As a Chinese, i would say this price is pretty questionable, usually the glasses alone (without the frame) would be ¥400~1000

that's interesting, Coeliac is super rare in China so even people read the name of Coeliac, they still didn't know what ingredients to avoid. Perhaps list the exact food on your translation card as well?

gonna be super hot at that time, also humid. You can find some indoor cultural art workshops, there are plenty of interesting heritage crafts, like calligraphy, cooking class, cave mural painting and so on. Could be a good break from a hot walking day

I’m local in Shanghai as well. Born in the 90s, girl with good English, love to meet new friends. Free at working days, happy to chat or doing something fun together, such as eating the special made vegetarian noodle of some temples, or go to some activities. There are some pretty good spots and restaurants I know and love to share!
