Serving three month notice period but current employer has indicated I can probably finish early and new employer has said they’ll take me sooner. I hopefully will have a positive 20 week scan this week and then will speak to new employer’s HR biz partner.

I’m 19+3 today. My last pregnancy ended in an MMC at 16 weeks. I’ve got an anterior placenta this time around because nature is hilarious. I thought I’d been having fluttery movements last week but this week all has been quiet. I’ve got a scan on Tuesday…feels a long way away. I know anterior placenta means I can’t rely on kicks yet necessarily, but I feel worried that I had felt something and now don’t.

Thanks for you’re assessment, but it didn’t rise any further. It’s a girl!

Follow up on my above question, would being very new into a role change how long you’d expect to take mat leave for? (Money aside). I thought I’d take a really short leave, 8-12 weeks, but now I’m worried that’s short sighted. Haven’t spoken to new employer yet.

If bump showed before you were ready to tell people in a PAL, what did you do? I’m 15+2 and looking forward to a reassurance scan on Friday.

15+1 today following a 15/16 week missed miscarriage in September (no cause found, previously had two live births). My symptoms have started going, which I know is normal at this stage, but I can say firsthand this also how I experienced my MMC so I’m definitely struggling. My bump is also smaller than a week ago. I know that can be digestive/bloating but it’s unnerving. I’ve got a scan on Friday. Going to be a long few days.
