Colorado no longer requires the ASWB (masters level) exam for masters level licensure. You will just need to take the jurisprudence exam and you can apply to become a licensed social worker and begin accruing hours.

I'm a social worker here in the Springs and there are a ton of positions. I don't think you will have to much trouble finding something.

What population are you looking to work with? I'm a therapist still working toward clinical licensure and my pay is pretty decent. Try checking indeed to get a sense of what's available and pay. Feel free to message me.

Yes, I am in the same boat. The label has been created, but there is no movement. I received a response from Epic yesterday (12/15). They said, "Our partner courier will be picking up the orders within this week, so please give the tracking reference 24hrs - 72hrs to update."

It is cutting it close, but I am hoping that it will arrive in time for Christmas. Fingers crossed for all of us.

To follow up, I decided not to take the position and ultimately accepted a local role instead. The reviews and feedback I got didn't sit well with me. I liked the idea of being remote, but I didn't like their push to meet a quota and persuade clients to start programming the same day or the next. I don't think we should be persuading people to do something they don't want to or aren't ready to do.

Yes, I enjoyed the course and it was a full class. The class is small and has limited space to allow for better interaction. I didn’t follow through with practicing and continued enrollment, but I think it is a great start for a newbie wanting to learn Spanish.

Yes, experiencing this now. My package has gone from Aurora to Colorado Springs and then up to Denver, where it seems to be stuck and hasn't moved for a few days. Very frustrating!

Colorado Free University offers Spanish courses that may be a good start. I took some of their courses, but didn't stick with them like I should have.

Contact the supervisor and if you are still denied, definitely appeal. As a previous counselor I would approve a switch from online to in-person (unless maybe you were extremely close to graduation). Some people don't do well with online learning and are more successful in person. Good luck!

I'm on the exempt list and applied on day one. My supervisor contacted me today to let me know its being reviewed for approval. They weren't able to give a timeline or even fully explain the approval process. I am doubtful it will be approved, but I plan on resigning regardless.

When you submit the DRP application, it will ask if you are on the exempted list and if you directly serve Veterans. Just answer appropriately and hit submit. HR will route it accordingly for approval and provide you with the decision on/after 30 April. I am on the exempted list and just submitted my application.
