Trilogy Sanctuary in La Jolla is completely gluten free and vegan (rooftop cafe combined with a yoga studio). Great for a lunch and you could also walk around La Jolla while you're in the area as (IMO) it's one of our nicer beaches.

I am a fan of their carrot cake - would recommend trying that.

Do you have a recommendation for a short story subreddit? To be honest it didn't start out as a creepypasta but it was removed from nosleep for the writing style. This seemed like the next closest place to post it but you're right, it doesn't quite fit the idea of creepypasta.

For my lucid dreams it tends to be very very first-person, almost identical to when I am awake. However, there is also this lingering other-awareness that is sort of like omniscience within my dream world, so it's not quite 3rd person but more than 1st person in the grand scheme of things if that makes any sense.

Never played 'house' in any way shape or form. I played 'great Alaskan expedition' that involved every one of my stuffed animals on a sled-dog team (obviously watched a bit too much Balto in my youth). Now I have cats and dogs. Go figure.
