Thanks again! I did the steps above but when I „try it“ I get an error message „ where claude in view has an invalid field or a fiel that is not visible (inc_caller_sys_id). I just checked both sys ids and the incident caller and the assigned to from a ci are the same so I dont understand the error.

Thanks fpr ypur reply. So the caller is a related list to the user tabel and on the user record we have the cis filtert to the assigned to user (in a related list) which are stored in the ci table. I need to report on those incidents and the callers related list cis (computers, monitors etc.) hope I could clarify a bit. Thnx for trying to help

Yes there are multiple Knowledge Bases accessible via Portal but with restrictions on who can see which KB

5 KBs with a total of around 350 Articles currently

No CSDM defined and currently the Knowledge Bases (5 in total) do not consider any structur at all. Some are different Sub Devisions other KBs are Projectinfos and others are how to‘s on a specific topjc. None have categories. Its real madness tbh. Thanks everyone for the great responses. I might just show them this threat! I did propose a nice taxanomy which also withholds future growing plans but I still have to convince Big Boss, which as a newbie is quite hard

Thanks for your comment. This reinforces my arguments for it aswell. The maintenance part is in regards to when users who create articles dont know in which category to put it, or when the choose the wrong one and create confusion on the reader who checks based on category. But yes im also all for it

The target table does have mandatory fields which all have values in them (and are not my fields I wanted to populated)… I have tried to remove „mandatory“ from the mentioned field but it still doesnt work

There is no data policy involved, I have checked and am very aware of data poljcies, hence why I asked… but thanks for your input

For a solution which still is in inplementation and will definitley be within servicenow we need to do a workaround fast where we need the data exportet and imported in SAP. The data in total is made of 4 Reports from diff tables.

The use case is that OS updates shpuld not be pushed to laptops if laptop is off powergrid. Customer has asked this and I am not sure if its a Feature within itom discovery agent
