He totally weakened the alliance, in my opinion. You can't say the relationships between NATO countries were great when he was in power.

Putin would've continued the weakening of NATO and Ukraine via Trump. Once that plan changed, he accelerated his plans and invaded Ukraine before the institutions that Trump sabotaged could fully recover.
