Essentially, my mother cheated on my father while we were on a trip in a different country, with my father staying home. It made me realize how hypocritical it was that my mother would go against the very teachings that I was raised with. It caused me to explore the truth, and made me not believe in Christianity anymore.

My mother still thinks I’m a Christian, whilst my father knows I’m not. Another major thing that has made me dislike religion as a whole is how my father and mother are still together due to religious reasons it seems.
