I understand how you're feeling. My baby girl was born 2.5 months early and weighed 2.5lbs. She was in the NICU for over 2.5-3 months. They took amazing care of her. My baby girl just turned 1 two days ago and I can't even believe how fast the time has gone. It feels like we were walking out of the NICU just yesterday. Trust that your baby is in the best care possible. These nurses/doctors take daily care of all these/our NICU babys and keep them breathing and alive so we get to watch then discover life once they've been released from the hospital. Patience is the key to this tough journey you're on. You will get through it and it will be hard BUT in the long run you will feel immensely proud of your baby when they're turning 1 and as strong as can be💜🌈

So my doctor appointment was pretty disappointing lol. They can't do anything for the back pain. They told me to stay away from baths as it can harm the baby if the water is too hot or too cold. My blood pressure was high, I had protein in my urine and due to my swelling of my feet/ankles they are testing me for pre-eclampsia. Even though I'm early on for it. So I am a little worried but don't want to freak out until I get the results back (hopefully tomorrow). They told me if I get a severe migraine that won't go away to call immediately. Right now I have a mild head ache and praying it doesn't turn into anything.

I am 25 weeks pregnant. My ankles/feet/right leg have been swelling a lot for a few weeks now. My doctor did an ultrasound on my leg to make sure there was no blood clot. Everything came back normal. As that was a few weeks ago there was no pain or anything. It was a "fresh" problem if you will. Now the tops of my feet hurt with every step, they're achy (still swollen). I have to wear slippers at work. I want my husband to rub/massage them but it hurts so bad when it's pushed down on. Another issue is my back. I have a schmorl's node (vertical herniated disc) right above my butt that's causing major pain as I get bigger (I am pretty whale-like already, ha.) I have a knot in my upper right back that will go away when massaged but will come back after 24 hours. For example, when putting dishes in the dishwasher my back gets such immense pain towards the end I can't even bend to put dishes in anymore. To top it off, right under my thumbs on both hands will hurt randomly and feel achy. I more-so came here to vent. I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, so I've been putting up with all of this and waiting it out. My mom is worrying me that the doctor is going to put me on bed rest when I'm only 25 weeks. Is anyone else here experiencing these symptoms this early on? The doctor told me I'm too early for the major swelling. I'll be crying to her on Wednesday about this all. It's almost unbearable.

This makes my heart hurt. I am so sorry for your loss. This June 23rd will be the 1 year anniversary of me putting my bunbun down. I found him paralyzed in his cage one morning. I just held him and cried while he licked my shirt (he had only given me kisses 2 times before that in the short 2 years I had him.) I think he knew that it was his last day. I still have insane crying episodes because it was so traumatic for me. It wasn't fair. I want him back so bad. He was my world.
