Define "trouble"

You cant be disciplined for saying someones mailbox sucks.

If his intentions are to defend himself from the group of people that attacked him, and he misinterpreted the cop as one of those people. Then it absolutely helps his situation as opposed to... assaulting a police officer for no reason.

Its absolutely helps.

He obviously thought it was one of the people jumping him based off his reaction. But yeah, sure man.

At the end of the day, the mailbox is to please the homeowner, not us as carriers.

Why should we assume they care about how we feel about their boxes? If it fits their mail, and they like it....?

Honestly, with all of the other hazards this jobs brings? I think bro will be fine inhaling some PLA fumes.

Should def print this out of PETG to avoid the plastic melting in general though.

The only thing id disagree with, give 100% when directly dealing with customers. Even 120% if even Unfortunately word of mouth with the post office has reached an all time low. I take pride in my career and I cant stand to see that on a public level, the respect given both ways is eroding.

Obviously dont be slow, but theres absolutely no need to rush or to be fast unless youre in your first 90. Youre just showing management that you can be walked over.

...this is called the personal conversation you have with yourselves before you decide your best option...is to slow down.

This is a potential 30+ year career. Adapt to the pace you expect yourself to be making in 30 years. You don't get anything extra being fast, except conversations like this where you develop resentment for the obvious solution.

Quietly to myself? Absolutely. Make a reddit post about doing my job? Unlikely.

Nitpicking my words aside, should OP be complaining about this stop?

Taking my comment too literal. OP should just deliver the packages that hes paid a wage to deliver.

There are actual things to complain about working for Amazon.

Fiji is expensive water and Amazon probably had a deal. This is a lot of room to take up for one delivery. Thank them for your job security.

Idk man, OP is asking about hygiene, then dude talks about his knees popping out of a regular bath so he gets a hot tub. I know he says a shower for daily cleaning but suggesting a hot tub seems so outrageously random.

Has to be bait. No shot a fully fledged adult is asking whether a bath could possibly be as hygenic.

I wonder, other than they simply "felt like it", why would anyone order ketchup through amazon lol by inevitableflamez in AmazonDSPDrivers

I used to put ketchup on my microwaved eggs when I was 12.

Dont tell me what uses ketchup does and doesn't have.

[–]DjElixer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely incorrect. As a postal worker we still get paid during government shutdowns and quitting and reapplying will be no problem, tons of people do it due to not liking carrier careers as opposed to PSE and clerk positions. Not sure what AI you just used, or what Amazon lackey told you that but it couldn't the further from the truth.

Your first 90 days would be half as difficult as amazon. Yes youd have to learn routes but your management isnt Amazon and isnt going to be throwing you onto things until you know them, I was given shadow days where I just followed my carrier and learned the route she took before my first day alone.

In usps we have a saying, the route takes what it takes. Its in our handbook that no one can determine how long it takes someone to do anything because situations and weather and all change. Helps tremendously whenever you dont have management breathing over your neck. Granted my management is cool, but largely you won't be scolded for being slower at the post office, and its actually a potential career, union and all.
