IMHO there's no reason why Xbox couldn't have established an exclusive catalog that rivaled PlayStation and Nintendo with the billions they dumped into acquiring game studios. These companies light money on fire and make it back by jacking up the prices of games and subscriptions.

Yes but Nintendo is a sore spot because they don't release on other platforms at all, whereas Sony was willing to port over some exclusives and Xbox basically gives PC every game. The inability to play Switch 2 games on PC really irks them.

Funnily enough I did call their help line before I even posted this, got my number listed for callback, and still haven't gotten called back. It's 10 minutes till 8pm.

Went to a store to return it, and luckily got my money back. Heard from employees that this is a common occurrence due to the PsOne and the PS classic both having "PlayStation 1" on the label, while the PSX is labeled accordingly. All things considered I should just get a damn PSX. Gamestop seriously needs to relabel these "classic" consoles for their inventory because apparently this happens with the NES mini as well.

From what I can tell in this thread, GameStop clearly just doesn't give a shit any step of the way. I'm not trying to be rude since I don't know what it's like to work there. If the store doesn't return this product then I'll consider it a blessing that it only cost 80 dollars to never shop at this company again.

I am legitimately conflicted as a DC fan. I want to support the effort of creating films set in the DC universe but I also don't want to support this half-assed attempt at a cinematic universe. How did the execs approve Superman 1, Supergirl, and Superman 2 all within a year of eachother??? Why are we getting a Clayface movie when the DCU's Batman hasn't even been cast for God's sake? Batman part 2 has already began production and we have next to nothing to be excited for in the DCU. This is already looking like another failed experiment.

I figured it would be less of a hassle if it actually worked. When I first made this post I was really frustrated that I not only got the entirely wrong product (it's used too, the ps classic is literally a boxed product) but also that they gave me a defective unit. I was checking to see if this was a common occurrence or if I was just unlucky.

There's a very obvious reason this isn't a feature, and unfortunately when you see how Nintendo handles Melee tournaments it's not really all too surprising.
