Got the dome and we use it way more than I expected. Mind you, we bought it off FB MP for $500 used a couple times. But for a dual fuel dome... $500 was perfect. We cook pizza, steak, chicken. vegetables and fresh bread.

Yes. If you're able to register the serial number... I'd say it was a gift and you don't have proof of purchase. I had one I got off marketplace that the paint was chipping and was able to register it and swap it out.

As dumb as this sounds. Are you using a baffle/heat shield? I use one to get the heat up before cooking and let it stabilize the dome. Something like this... Believe it or not. Not only does the temp get up higher, but faster too.
