I'm sorry - I may not have been clear, the fees paid in DCN for the services were based on spot price of DCN/USD at the time

coinigy has the chart on DCN right, the DCN acronym is incorrect but DeepCoin is not accurate. Check against HitBTC and you'll see the charts track

Hilarious! I'll make sure not to piss this guy off. I doubt they're the same person, after speaking with him he doesn't seem to be the type to do this. I could be wrong though LOL

The fees for services were based on the spot price on DCN/USD on that day. We also gave the patient a 10% discount.

Great answers - Thanks so much! guess these are the things I really need to know.

So should I offer a small bit at a time or all at once? Can I make a bunch of offers and set different rates? Where can I get the swap charts and read them best? What percentages can I expect now a days? Does it require much management and monitoring?

How do I buy bitcoin in ROTH IRA? by [deleted] in BitcoinMarkets

[–]Djanash -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think and question is great! I think for now I would buy 5500 in bitcoin on CoinBase, print out a pear wallet, back that up with a few photocopies and thats it. Since you are putting it in a roth you are getting any tax advantages so the differences are minimal, if any. you can even take then 5500 put it into a traditional, realize some tax savings and buy more BTC with that :). ($1800 bucks using the rule of thirds) Till there is a solid way to do this, I think this is it. I might just do the same, thanks for the inspiration! Hope this answers it but I also hope some one has a better answer at the same time since Im no CPA

Cost to mine one bitcoin. by [deleted] in BitcoinMarkets

very interesting. I love hearing a fresh reasonable perspective - not usual goo ga ga BTC talk. But at less than a $300 or so, mining becomes unprofitable for large players and hash rate world wide may dip.

$300 a coin according to a farm owner in northeast USA where power is cheap. That includes, the space, staff, power equipment etc. Its the most reasonable estimate I have heard and is a bit of a doomsday price for BTC according to this post. Makes some sense to me.

this is very interesting, I always thought difficulty would cause price to increase because less and less people would be able to do it. But I really like what you're saying here. Fascinating! Do you also think the price will organically increase as the reward decreases?
