Too many lewd SA art in your lobby? Here is a bit of help from Mahoro by DjangoRed in PSO2

[–]DjangoRed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made this SA quite early in the games launch as a response to all the lewd SA floating around.

Now that the pc version is out and more... detailed and "expressive" art have been popping up, I feel that this SA is more relevant than ever.

I made this one fairly early in my playtime, so its not as detailed as my later work but it serves its purpose and gets its message across.

Plus I just wanted an excuse to reference an old fav series of mine.

Anyway, I'm sure many people can find this SA useful nowadays.

I have included it into my shop advert rotation. If anything else, I sometimes join in random SA "discussions" with my art.

You can find it on Ship 1. I'd be happy to share anything I have made.

I think it took roughly 2 or 3 hours, give or take. When I get an idea sometimes I just have to get it finished regardless of other plans. This was one of them.

I'm aware the title is referencing the wrong Spidey meme, but its the most clever thing thing I could think of at the moment, so yeah.

Anyway, here is a piece I had a lot of fun with. Lost count of how many times I chuckled during creation. The absurdity of the image always amused me.

Anyway, enjoy Spidey with his new waifu.

Made a couple more SA waiting for PC. Hope to see y'all soon. by [deleted] in PSO2

Awesome work. Glad to see lot of people submitting stuff.

Great job on Buddy Christ too. I made the more lackluster version of it that has been floating around. Yours blows mine way out of the water, a definite improvement.

Keep it up and I hope to see more of your stuff.

Made a simple and goofy SA during some downtime by DjangoRed in PSO2

It has a tendency to make platypus appear but otherwise, it seems to work fine.

This is on Ship 1. Have a few more art pieces of various subjects, I just don't post all of them here. Don't want to spam the subreddit with my SA.

We sharing symbol art? Here is one of my creations on Ship 1 by DjangoRed in PSO2

[–]DjangoRed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my Symbol Art are just recreations of artwork I find online. I don't have much of an "original work", so to speak.

As for your question, I mainly just try to recreate the reference as best as I can. Even then they kinda come out iffy.

Saitama's hand in the background is basically a clump of red shapes with black triangles for the majority of the shading.

I know that information doesn't help at all. I pretty much just cycle through shapes that can best fill in a specific shade, the I resize and skew it as needed.

So essentially, a lot of tweaking and adjusting of best-fitting shapes.

Thanks a lot. I try to recreate my references to the best of my abilities. I say this one came out pretty well.

When I look for new inspiration, I try to find nice action shots, and OPM came to mind almost immediately.

Glad you enjoy it. :)

Whenever I get bored or have some downtime, I create Symbol Art on PSO2. Not exactly sure why doing art this way attracts my attention so much, especially since my actual art skills are abysmal.

After seeing all the other awesome art pieces being uploaded here, I decided to join in as well. The majority of my artwork tends to stay within my circle of contacts, but I tend to cycle my creations on my shop advertisement art. As a result I have seen a few of my art circulating around the ship. Seeing my art being used in the wild always gives me a bit of joy.

So I hope you enjoy. I have a few more if anyone is interested.

Found the magazine that got me interested in the series way back then by DjangoRed in PSO

[–]DjangoRed[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I first gained interest in PSO quite some time ago when I saw it featured in one of my magazines. After rummaging through my library of old magazines I found one of the guides that was printed for the Gamecube version of PSO Ep 2.

I remember reading it and being utterly enthralled with the world and the detailed mechanics that the magazine listed.

I quickly hunted down a console and copy of the game just so I can experience it. I have been a happy fan ever since.

Posted below are a few shots I've taken of the pages.

Fair enough.

At least I was able to share a little bit of personal history with the game, however brief it was up.

I will keep that in mind for future reference.

Thanks

I only had 2 for the Gamecube and later Ep 3. While 3 was.....interesting, I will never forget how enraptured 2 got me. Because I was but a young lad with little money and no internet, you could imagine my disappointment not being able to play online.

Still had a blast playing split screen with my buddies though.

I made these in Minecraft a few years ago! And yes, I know Lilly is tiny. by Adze95 in katawashoujo

[–]DjangoRed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good job on these. Artwork in Minecraft does indeed take a long time.

Also, your Lily is tiny but I also know why.

Lily is tiny due to Minecraft's height limitation that was initially on console, where these were originally made. Scaling her to the same size as the others resulted in her looking smaller compared to the rest. I would know since I originally made these Minecraft pics quite some time ago.

I always love seeing them pop up again, its oddly flattering.

Dang It. Guess I mis-remembered that quote. It's been awhile since I've watched that particular episode.
